LK Hjelle – Norwegian craftsmanship that has been creating timeless comfort for generations

LK Hjelle is one of the most valued brands of contemporary Norwegian design, for over eighty years creating furniture that combines exceptional comfort, the highest quality of workmanship and timeless aesthetics. The history of the company began in 1940 in the town of Sykkylven, located between the fjords of western Norway. It was there that Lars Karl Hjelle founded a family business whose mission was to create durable furniture and build local crafts. To this day, all products are manufactured in the brand's own factory in Norway, which allows you to maintain full control over the quality and production process.

LK Hjelle's philosophy is based on a simple assumption - furniture should last for generations. Therefore, each project is created with durability, renovation possibilities and timeless design in mind, which does not succumb to temporary trends.

LK Hjelle sofas - Scandinavian comfort at its best. The greatest recognition for the brand came from the unique LK Hjelle sofas, which have been valued for years for their excellent ergonomics, precision of workmanship and minimalist aesthetics. The collection includes both modern modular systems and classic lounge models, designed with everyday comfort in mind. The brand is characterized by clean lines, carefully selected proportions and the highest quality fabrics and leather.

Norwegian craftsmanship and local production. LK Hjelle is one of the few European manufacturers who still design and produce all their furniture in their own factory. The brand has been developing local craftsmanship for generations, working with experienced upholsterers and carpenters for whom quality of workmanship remains the most important value. In 2024, the manufacturer received the prestigious Made in Norway certificate, emphasizing the authenticity of local production and the highest quality standards.

Design created in cooperation with the best. LK Hjelle collections are created in cooperation with renowned designers such as Anderssen & Voll, Hallgeir Homstvedt, Andreas Engesvik, Lars Tornøe and Fredrik A. Kayser. The result is furniture that has won international awards and has been an important element of contemporary Scandinavian design for years. The brand's offer also includes iconic models such as Siesta, Modell 711, Falcon, Ugo, Frí and Gaia, which perfectly show the evolution of Norwegian design over the decades.

It is the combination of family tradition, local production and cooperation with outstanding designers that makes LK Hjelle furniture delight not only with its appearance, but also with comfort and durability for many years.
