Louis Poulsen – icons of Danish lighting and Scandinavian design

Louis Poulsen is one of the most prestigious lighting brands in the world, creating designer Louis Poulsen lamps and lighting for over 150 years, which have become a symbol of Scandinavian design. From the beginning of its activity, the brand has focused on designing light that improves the comfort of everyday life and harmonizes harmoniously with interior architecture. Louis Poulsen lamps perfectly combine aesthetics, functionality and the highest quality of workmanship, thanks to which they have been among the most recognizable products in the world of design for years.

Louis Poulsen's philosophy is based on the "Shape the Light" principle, according to which light is the most important element of every design. The brand does not only design lighting fixtures - it creates solutions that eliminate glare, distribute light evenly and create a unique interior atmosphere. This is why Louis Poulsen lighting has been chosen for years by architects, designers and investors implementing prestigious projects around the world.

Poul Henningsen, the creator of the revolutionary system of multi-layer lampshades and the legendary PH lamps, had a huge influence on the development of the brand. Louis Poulsen's history also includes outstanding designers such as Arne Jacobsen, Verner Panton, Vilhelm Lauritzen, Oki Sato (Nendo) and GamFratesi, whose designs still set the direction of contemporary design. Thanks to cooperation with the best designers, Louis Poulsen lamps have become icons of world design.
